Programs

Korean Language Class

Do not miss an opportunity to learn standard Korean language in the capital city, Seoul. Our experienced faculty will provide well-planned lessons for our two-week program for both first time learners and basic level learners.

#1. National Museum of Korea

Since its establishment in 1945, the National Museum of Korea has been committed to various studies and research activities in the fields of archaeology, history, and art, continuously developing a variety of exhibitions and education programs. The museum offers numerous programs for foreigners, including guided tours, cultural classes of traditional pottery, traditional painting, calligraphy, traditional metal art, lacquerware, etc. A visit to the museum will help you broaden the understanding to Korean history, art, and culture.

#2. Taekwondo Class

Taekwondo is Korea’s national martial art, which has been an Olympic event since 2000. The physical training undertaken in Taekwondo is purposeful and fosters strength of mind through mental armament. 


Students will be learning some main Taekwondo techniques including punching and kicking techniques, head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques during the class.

#3. Namsan Fortress Tour

Namsan Fortress, known as the filming location of Korean movies and dramas such as "My Mister", "The King 2 Hearts", and "Architecture 101", boasts a night view of brightly lit metropolitan Seoul. Especially at sunset time, you can see a fantastic view of Seoul, and you can see a unique night view with a castle.

#4. K-POP Dance Class

K-pop, short for Korean popular music, includes styles and genres from around the world, such as pop, hip hop, R&B, rock, jazz, traditional Korean music, etc. It is one of the world-leading culture and also is one of the fastest-growing major market at the moment.

Experience life of a K-pop trainee while getting trained from our K-pop teachers. An unexpected talent may be discovered during the class.

#5. Namsan Tower

Located on the top of Namsan, the mountain in the heart of Seoul, N Seoul Tower will provide a unique view to the whole city that you will keep in your forever memory. Especially, Seoul’s city night view with lights and skyscrapers is magnificent. 

#6. Seoul Forest

Seoul Forest known as Central Park in Korea, where you can experience Korea's unique culture and nature at the same time, will give you unforgettable memories

1. Bicycle Tour: Seoul Forest is connected by a bicycle path, making it the best place to enjoy nature and culture at the same time even in the city. We will ride bicycle and feel the diversity of Seoul.

2. Insect Garden: The Insect Garden in Seoul Forest is a special place to explore the diversity of nature. You can discover the mysterious world of nature by meeting unique insects and various plants. 

3. SM Town: SM Town is a comprehensive K-POP experience space that provides fans with a special experience through various artists and contents as well as music. There is a studio where you can produce a variety of content with artists. Fans can create special commemorative photos or videos through collaboration with artists.

#7. Korean BBQ Party

Korean BBQ is one of the most popular Korean traditional food. Grilled over charcoal fire as per the traditional recipe, the marinated beef/pork and various side dishes will offer you the best taste of Korean food.


Along with Korean BBQ, other different Korean food will be also available, including Naengmyun (Cold noodle), Donjang-jjigae (Soy bean soup), and Gyeran-jjim (Casserole-like steamed egg).

#8. Korean Traditional Folk Village

Korean Folk Village is a living museum that display elements of traditional Korean life and culture. There are multiple sections to the park, including numerous replicas of traditional houses of the different social classes from various regions. There are typically several cultural performances including Nong-ak play, tightrope play, horseback martial art play, and a traditional wedding. The village consists of Joseon period houses and workshops, where visitors can enjoy the architectural characteristics of the Joseon dynasty and experience traditional crafts.

#9. Han River Picnic/ Cruise Tour

The Han River is where nature and urban life harmoniously coexist. Create cherished memories surrounded by the beauty of the river and Korean foods.

The Han River Cruise Tour is one of the representative tourist courses where you can enjoy the scenery of Seoul along the Han River. Starting from the center of Seoul, pass through the riverside of the Han River, Yeouido, Namsan Tower, and other various attractions, and you can enjoy the scenery of Seoul from this tour. It makes unforgettable memories.

#10. Myeongdong/ Namdaemun Shopping

Meet new fashion and culture in Myeongdong and Namdaemun, two representative shopping attractions in Seoul. In Myeongdong, you can find the latest K-POP trends on a street full of trendy fashion and beauty products. Namdaemun is a place with a classic and modern atmosphere, and in the market with a long tradition, you can find a wide range of products from traditional Korean clothing to antiques and luxury bags.

#11. Cooking Korean Food

Students will get a chance to create their own Tteokbokki, one of Korea's most popular street food. Students can freely add ingredients including small-size tteok (rice cake), eomuk (fishball and fish cake), boiled eggs, cabbages, scallions, onions, sausages, cheeses, noodles, etc. Spicy Tteokbokki with gochujang sauce is the most common type but there are various types of Tteokbokki including cream sauce Tteokbokki, soy sauce Tteokbokki, and curry Tteokbokki. It is easy to cook and also tasty.

#12. Insadong/ Gwanghwamun Tour 

Experience Insa-dong and Gwanghwamun at the same time, two special areas where Seoul's history and art coexist. In Insa-dong, where traditional Korean culture and art meet, look for artworks such as classical crafts, hanbok, and paintings that are abundant in each alley. Feel the tranquil beauty of Seoul while enjoying a cup of tea at a traditional tea house.
Gwanghwamun is Korea's historic center, home to Daehanmun, the National Museum, and Gyeongbokgung Palace. Take a walk along the street and appreciate the history and beauty of Seoul. In Gwanghwamun Square, you can take wonderful pictures in the center of South Korea.

#13. Gyeongbokgung

 Gyeongbokgung Palace is filled with its own beauty and historical values. xploring special exhibits and historic sites, you can gain insights into Korean culture and art. Inside Gyeongbokgung Palace, you will admire the beauty of the palace and the beauty of its traditional costumes. We invite you to the dynamic center of Korean history. Discover the beauty of Korea by enjoying a special moment on the Gyeongbokgung Palace tour.

#14. University Tours

A tour to top-tier global universities in Korea, Yonsei University and Ewha Womans University would be a good opportunity for students. While visiting the universities and explore their campus, students will be able to experience a day as a college student.

#15. Lotte World

Lotte World is Seoul's iconic amusement park, full of colorful entertainment and exciting rides. You can experience a treasure chest of great fun. A variety of thrilling rides, entertaining shows, and beautiful gardens are waiting for you. 

#16. Nanta Show

Nanta is a popular Korean non-verbal comedy show that incorporates traditional samul-nori rhythm. The show involves acrobatics, magic tricks, comedy, pantomime and audience participation. The unifying element throughout the musical is the use of traditional Korean samul-nori music, which in this case is performed with improvised instruments, such as cutting boards, water canisters and kitchen knives.

Accommodation


International 

Seoul Youth Hostel


Located in the heart of Seoul and on the edge of Namsan mountain, Seoul Youth Hostel provides great accessibility to the city attractions, clean rooms, and friendly services. The building was renovated recently and the hostel itself is owned by the city of Seoul. 

Students will be provided fresh and high-quality breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the hostel. The place awarded The Best Youth Training Center Award (Most Excellent) for the year of 2017-2018, 2019-2020, and 2021-2022 by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. 





Group Meal


Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared with fresh ingredients of vegetables, meat, and seafood. Breakfast includes both Western and Korean style food.

Dormitory & Ondol Room


The Ondol room constructed with the traditional Ondol (Korean floor heating system) structure will provide a place to rest for students. A private restroom with shower is attached to the room and more washstands/toilets/showers are available in the hallway.
